Raymond Samuel Ellenwood, 87, of Arvada died November 23, 1999 in Denver. Services were November 27, with burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Ellenwood was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on February 24, 1911. He married Dorothy Jefferies, 1933. He worked for B.K. Sweeny Manufacturing. He was the head deacon at North Federal Baptist Church. He was a Boys Brigade leader. Survivors include sons Eugene of Illinois, Melvin of Texas, Donald of Broomfield, daughter Virginia Marks of Arvada; 15 Grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

Note: Most of the vitals came from "Pearl's" Family Bible, which she was very conscientious of writing in. She has even noted the passing of several of Daniel's birthdays after his death, giving the ages he would have been.
Ellinwood, Robert Louis (Adopted) {I08478} (b. 22 FEB 1922, d. 24 NOV 1945)
Note: Robert was the youngest of a family of 9 - 10 children who were adopted out from the steps of an Alabama courthouse during the 1920s by their widowed father. Their last name was Richardson and the family may have a history of Factor IX deficient hemophilia. He was approximately 2 years old at the time he was adopted into the Daniel Ellinwood family of Amory, MS and given the name Robert Louis.

Robert's death occured at Fort Blanding, FL after serving in Italy WWII and was on route home, but died of an aneurysm complicated by undiagnosed hemophilia before arriving home at the age of 25 yr.
